PHOTOGRAPHY
This is a collection of photographs I created while studying Image Design at East Carolina University. I developed and printed the black and white photographs by hand. The dilapidated photographs were taken after Hurricane Floyd in 1999. I ventured into abandoned homes to capture their despair. You will see some portraits taken in the studio with varying degrees of light and contrast. There are some historical photographic processes exhibited here, such as cyanotypes and gum bichromates. You will also see polaroid transfers and portraits from a workshop in Maine led by Joyce Tenneson.
